PAT Testing

PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing), when conducted properly by a trained technician with properly calibrated equipment, can protect your business from expensive law suits.

We have all seen the multitude of advertisements from solicitors asking people to claim for the slightest little accident, and this is increasing the costs of insurance, and increasing the costs to businesses in defending themselves from people who have accidents and want someone to blame.

PAT Testing shows your employees, your insurance company, and the courts, that you care about the safety of people when visiting your business and you maintain a reasonable policy of having your electrical equipment tested.

When itexpress visit your premises to conduct PAT Testing, we use trained technicians and properly calibrated equipment. We will place the appropriate stickers on the equipment we test, replacing fuses for the correct ones and replacing power cables if they need replacing. Any failures we place a sticker on and advise you that it should not be used further.

After our visit we provide you with a report stating how many items were tested and how many passed and failed. We have a record of every device tested should you require more information.

During the PAT test we try not to disrupt your work as we work through your business and as we are computer technicians too, we understand what should be turned off when and also how to reboot machines as we test them.
