Google Glass Goes Back to the Drawing Board

Google Glass has been a bit of a non-starter for Google. Rather than become another piece of wearable technology, it has become a piece of technology which has struggled to find any real application. Additionally, many media outlets pointed out all the flaws and turned the use of Google Glass into a privacy scandal. Goole have announced that sales of Google Glass will halt today whilst they go back and review the project perhaps refining it further before trying again.

From my point of view I liked the idea of using it whilst cycling particularly with the navigation possibilities but found it hard to justify £1000 when I already have 90% of the features on my Garmin.

It will be exciting to see what they do with it but unfortunately we may be in for a long wait, as this could still be corporate speak for dropping the project due to gaining very little momentum.
